Questions and answers.

The questions we are asked most, answered plainly.

For pupils and students

Is it really free?

Yes, completely, and it stays that way. There is no fee, no commission and no premium tier for pupils or students. Universities pay to open candidates; that is the whole business.

What are Pro tools?

An optional toolkit for your own applications, 4.99 a month: a motivation letter drafted from your profile and your reasons, a document checklist for each country you named, and a tracker for every application and deadline. It changes nothing about how universities find you; being listed and contacted is free either way. Cancel any time.

Is Eduuro an agent?

No. An agent applies for you and is paid by the school when you enrol. Eduuro puts you in a register where universities look, and the university writes to you directly. Nobody stands in between and nobody takes a cut.

Who can see my profile?

Universities, colleges and schools with an account. They see what you want to study, your education so far, your English level, citizenship, age and start year. They never see your email or documents until they choose to open your profile, and you are told when they do.

Why do you ask for documents?

Because admissions staff told us that a transcript and a language certificate at first contact cut their work dramatically, and that a profile with proper documents is the one they answer first. Clear scans or PDFs only, never a photo taken on a knee. Only a university that has opened your profile can see them.

I am still at school. Is it for me?

Yes. Say what you would like to study and when you finish school. Universities planning next year's intake search for exactly that. If you are under 18, tell a parent or guardian that you are listed.

Does Eduuro get me admitted?

No, and we never say it does. We put you where the people who admit are looking. They decide to write; you decide to answer; the application itself is between you and them.

Which countries?

Any university in the EU and the EEA. You can name the countries you would consider, or say anywhere in Europe.

How do I delete everything?

Sign in, open Privacy and data, press Delete my account. Profile, documents and messages are gone immediately.

For universities

What does it cost?

Search is free and unlimited. Opening a candidate is metered: €99 a month for 25 candidates, €299 for 100. Your first candidate on any account is free so you can see what you get. For comparison, an agent takes about ten per cent of a year's tuition for one enrolled student, after the first year.

Who is in the register?

Pupils and students who listed themselves because they want to study in Europe. Nobody is scraped, imported or brought by an agent; every profile was written by the person it describes and every one of them agreed to be found.

What do I get when I open a candidate?

Their email address, any documents they attached (transcript, diploma, passport page, language certificate), and a conversation window where you write to them directly. The candidate gets an email naming your university. Opened candidates stay readable for ever, including after you cancel.

Can we filter by citizenship?

Yes, and by English level, previous education, desired level, start year and whether documents are attached. We know which nationalities your visa office can realistically serve matters more than almost anything else.

Can an agent use it on our behalf?

No. Accounts are held by the institution itself. Passing candidate data to an agent is a breach of the terms and of our promise to the candidate.

Is this GDPR-safe for us?

Candidates give their data to be listed and found; that is the stated purpose and the contract basis. Opening a candidate gives you their data for one purpose, contacting them about studying with you. You become a controller for what you then hold, and the rest is your admissions process as usual.
